Cynthia "Cindy" Tews

Cynthia "Cindy" Tews, born on April 17, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, in her beloved hometown. She was 74 years old.

Cindy was born to Fred and Mary Tews and remained a proud Clevelander throughout her life. She dedicated many years of service as an administrative assistant at the Cleveland Public Library's Main Branch, where she was a book binder and sharing her passion for knowledge, reading, and organization with all who crossed her path.

She will be remembered for her warm heart and sweet nature. Cindy had a deep love for books and television, always finding joy in stories, both on the page and screen. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make others laugh with her wit and playful jokes.

Cindy is survived by her brother, Larry Tews (Michelle); her nephew, Brian Tews (Raquel), great-nephew John Rafael, cousins Victoria (Thomas), Joseph (Christine), Valarie (Jeffery) and her Aunt Marlene.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday October 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM until the time of the Panachida service at 11:00 AM, located at Busch Funeral Home, 4334 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109. Interment will follow at Holy Spirit Cemetery, 5500 W 54th St, Parma, OH 44129.
