Michael Tews Obituary
Michael A. Tews, 77, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at 8 p.m. in St. Paul's Life Plan Community, South Bend, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, with Pastor Bruce Carr officiating. Private burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
He was born Jan. 1, 1949, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Kenneth and Janet (Fox) Tews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Terrence Tews.
Michael had worked at Meijer and was a caregiver to his parents. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Michigan City, Indiana.
He enjoyed bowling and watching sports. Michael enjoyed spending time with his friends that he made over the years and he will be missed.
