Cynthia Sue Workman, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, in Soda Springs, Idaho after a quick battle with an aggressive and rare form of cancer. Born on October 8, 1952, in Cañon City, Colorado, to Gladys and Donald Mann.

Educated at Bonneville High School in Ogden, Utah, from which she graduated in 1971, Cynthia went on to complete beauty school, earning her beautician license. She worked in a salon for a short time before starting her career of being a full-time mother. From there you could find her in her kitchen giving perms, cutting and coloring hair.

On January 3, 1973, Cynthia married Frederick Allen Workman in the Ogden, Utah temple. Together, they built a family that would come to mean everything to her. She raised her six children, dedicating her life to their well-being, a commitment that she considered her greatest accomplishment. As they navigated life together, the family enjoyed their time in both Federal Way, Washington and Coalville, Utah.

After her divorce from Fred, Cynthia made her way to Soda Springs, Idaho, where she was living with her daughter and her family. In Soda Springs, she made many dear friends. In fact, everywhere she moved she established life long friendships from Washington to Utah.

Cynthia is survived by her children: Tara (Alberto) Diaz of Utah, Toni (Cory) Brown of Wyoming, Marci (Robert) Graham of Idaho, Jacob (Jennifer) Workman of Utah, Casie (Anthony) Sargent of Utah and Benjamin (Jess) Workman of Wyoming. Her vibrant spirit will also be honored by her siblings: Sandy (Roy) Barton, Wendell (Muriel) Mann, Kathy (Gary) Barton, and Dan (Sandee) Mann. Cynthia's legacy as a grandmother shines brightly through her 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense joy and pride in her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Mann and Donald Mann, as well as two brothers, Dale and Dennis Mann, two beloved grandchildren, AJ Workman and Angelica Diaz, niece Cheryl Barton-Mattson and a former spouse Frederick Workman.

The family would like to thank those friends and family who sent many texts, phone calls and visits. We would especially like to acknowledge her dear friend and doctor, Nita Weber.

A private celebration of life will be scheduled in the future.
