D. Herdrich Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Aug. 7, 2023.
Donald "Scot" Herdrich, age 55, of Saline, MI., passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023. Scot was born in Royal Oak, MI., on June 1, 1968, to the late Bruce Allen Herdrich of Chicago, IL., and Charlene Grace Sticklin of Albany, OH. On June 2, 2021, Scot married his first love and high school sweetheart, Andrea Mongelli Herdrich.
Scot is survived by his wife Andrea of Troy, MI, his son Ashton (15), his mother Charlene of Saline, MI and many family members and friends.
Scot was a part of a Recovery Community that was first and foremost in his life. He was a mentor to many and a pillar in the recovery aspect. He had a passion to try to help everyone he crossed paths with to carry the message of sobriety.
Scot was a Master Plumber and Owner of A2 Plumbing Co., who was exceptional in his trade. He was a perfectionist because doing quality work was important to him. He worked very hard and was determined to be successful in order to earn a professional and respectful name in his business.
Scot loved nature, flowers, trees, mountains, traveling and long walks with his wife and mother. He enjoyed many visits with his mother - talking, walking and cooking. His mother meant the world to him. He and his wife had planned to return to Pinckney, MI on the lake, where Scot grew up and had many fond memories. Scot was remarkably intelligent, witty, humorous, and always had a story to tell.
He was a sweet, tender and caring man who was gracious to all that he met, and was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, whom he adored. He was also a hopeless romantic and loved to shower his wife with flowers and gifts.
Family and friends are welcome to join the Celebration of His Life at the Washtenaw Alano Club in Ann Arbor, MI on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. Services and memories will be shared during this time, via Joe Downes. To leave a memory you have of Scot, for directions or for more information please visit www.rbfhsaline.com.
