Da'Shauntay Lamont Jones-Washington

Da'shauntay also known as (Dontae Or Tae Or most of all Duker), Was a very mature, independent, brilliant young man. Duker had a laugh that would flood the whole room with laughter not even remembering the joke. Duker is the peace in everyone's storm. He was someone you could call anytime, and he'll be there no matter how far, or what it is, He was always there.

Duker was a very spiritual person, his years as a young man he spent connecting to god and moving with integrity. He would do the most heartwarming things at the most unexpected times. Anytime he was in a position to give back to people he did just that! He was so big on opening shelter for homeless people, which he felt was his duty to do so. Also Duker made getting a job look so easy. He never stayed down for too long. Always working & dedicated. Dontae was a very rare soul. A soul that we may never find in another, He's touched our lives and heart in so many ways.

Duker is survived by his parents: his mother, Tangela Jones; his plus mother, Mar'Shay Washington; his stepmother, Patrice Odgen; and his father, Rashone Washington. He leaves behind his loving siblings: Jamya Jones, Jakyla Jones, Serenity Watkins, Marijah Wyrick, Jae'liyah Jones, Da'montay Jones-Westbrook, Kamari Taylor, and Jae'ivon Jones. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Anne Washington, Heneritta Thomas, and Tamela Crawford; as well as Axel Williams-Steele, Rashone Washington, Trevon Allen, Gerald Allen, and Michael Allen. Duker is further cherished by a host of uncles, aunties, cousins, and many devoted friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
