To honor the life and legacy of Mr. Backus, a visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 11:00 AM.
