Dairrel Ringener Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 19, 2024.
HALTOM CITY - Dairrel Richard Ringener, 86, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Funeral: 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in the Breyley Suite.
Dairrel was born June 10, 1938, in Big Spring, Texas, to Walter and Lela Ringener. One of eleven children, Dairrel grew up in a good home with good parents who instilled godly living in their children.
As a young man, Dairrel's first job was on a cotton patch in West Texas, removing cotton from the stalk. His second job was in the air conditioning industry, where he started his own company. By that time, he had moved to Haltom City, where he remained for the rest of his life. He also bought, sold and rented houses out.
Dairrel was converted to Christ on March 10, 1992, at age 54, when he attended a class on denominationalism, which was held at the Windmill Church of Christ, just south of Weatherford. Living in Haltom City at the time, the Windmill church was 44 miles away. Because of that distance, he visited the Birdville Church of Christ the next Sunday, and decided to stay. He has been a member of Birdville since that time, for a total of 32 years.
He was very involved at Birdville Church of Christ and a deacon for many years. He was involved with mission printing, maintaining eleven air conditioners, and many other tasks as needed. Whenever something mechanical needed attention, Dairrel was called.
Dairrel was married to Mary Ann Ringener for thirty years, then after her passing, was single for 15 years before he met and married Anita Ringener, and was married to her for 18 years before she passed away.
Dairrel was evangelistic and spread the word of God until his body would not allow him to. He was even giving and making Bible lessons for the three hospice nurses who cared for him.
After Anita's passing, he took a trip to Seattle, Washington, to help his grandson move to California. It was his first time flying in a commercial aircraft. He was 84 years old at the time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lela Ringener; his first wife, Mary Ann Ringener; his second wife, Anita Ringener; and his siblings, Pauline Martin, W.A. Ringener, J.M. Ringener, J.R. Ringener, Anita Johnson and Billy Ringener.
Dairrel is survived by his son, Roland Ringener; grandson, Garett Ringener; granddaughter, Brit'nee Ringener; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Smith and Cathleen Montgomery; brother, Merel Ringener; and sisters, Lillian Collum, Carolyn Williamson and Sis Bedell.
