In Loving Memory of Daisy Olivera June 4, 1937 – June 11, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Daisy Olivera, who left us peacefully in the early morning of Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born on June 4, 1937, in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, Daisy was the beloved daughter of Rosalia Velázquez and Lázaro Olivera. She was the devoted wife of the late Agustín Pomales, with whom she shared and raised a large and loving family.
Daisy was a proud and devoted mother of nine children: Edwin Pomales, Jose Luis Pomales, Esther Pomales, Carlos Pomales, Noel Pomales, Damaris Pomales, Yolanda Pomales, Daniel Pomales, and Heriberto Pomales.
Daisy was the heart and soul of her family-a woman of strength, grace, and unwavering love. She devoted her life to her children and extended family, always present with a warm smile, a kind word, and a helping hand. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, and unshakable support to all who knew her. Her love was unconditional, her faith was strong, and her legacy lives on in the lives of those she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.
