Daksha Munshi

Daksha Munshi, (nee Daksha Mehta), 74, of Paramus, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Born in Surat, Gujarat. Always curious, she studied literature in India before coming to America in 1986 with the dream of building a better life for her family. Her love of language continued with picking up Spanish and Russian while talking to customers at her businesses. She was deeply devoted to her faith and family, and gave selflessly to others, especially helping fellow immigrants find their footing in their new country. An exceptional cook, she was famous for her pani puri parties and kastha kachori's. Daksha found joy in her family and traditions. Her life was defined by love, strength, and generosity.

Cherished wife of Prakash Munshi. Devoted mother of Kaushal Munshi and his wife Jasmine, and Raj Munshi and his wife Debika (Millie). Loving grandmother of Samaya, Dylan, Shreya, and Simran. Predeceased by her siblings Himanshu Mehta and Anjali Pandya.
