Dale Barker Sr.

Clifton Dale Barker Sr., age 79, of Springville, TN passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Barker was born on June 18, 1944, in Henry County, TN to the late Clifton Riley Barker and the late Georgia Mae Hicks Barker. He was also preceded by his brothers, Lawrence Barker, Hilman Keith Barker, and Buck Barker. Mr. Barker retired from Genesco in Camden, TN after 21 years working as an Industrial Engineer. Dale and his wife, Nancy, owned the Had-A-Call Grocery in Springville, TN for many years and The Tackle Box Convenience Store in Paris, TN. Mr. Barker was a Mason and Shriner in the Springville Masonic Lodge 130 and a 32nd Degree Mason.

Sister: Kay (Darryl) Holland of Paris, TN

Grandchildren: Holly (Damon) Todd, and Hannah Barker

Great Grandchildren: Lawson, Harrison, and Carson

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 10:00-2:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 2 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN with Danny Miller and Gary Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
