Dale Atley Dillow, Sr., 84, of Berkeley Springs, WV passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Berkeley Springs Healthcare Center.
Born October 16, 1939, he was the son of the late Thomas William Dillow and Nannie Myers.
He was a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School.
Dale was a retired warehouse manager with Montgomery County, MD, Schools with 32 years of service. He was an avid Redskins fan. He adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
He is survived by one daughter, Sheila Dillow, and spouse, Judy York of Shepherdstown, WV; three sons, Dale Dillow, Jr. of Kearneysville, WV, Brian "Keith" Dillow and wife, Debra of Mt. Airy, MD, Timothy Dillow of Kearneysville, WV; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Oliver; two brothers, John "Andrew" Dillow and Daniel Dillow; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita in 2013; daughter-in-law, Amy Watson Dillow; one sister, Jean Turner; four brothers, William, Charles, Lester and James Dillow.
Services will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, WV Chapter, 1111 Lee Street E., Charleston, WV 25301, or www.wvalz.org
