William “Dale” Everett Freeman, 91, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Salem, Arkansas.
He was born in Norfork, Arkansas, on March 8, 1933, son of the late William and Rosie Jane (Foster) Freeman. Dale was united in marriage to Faye Hutchison on July 22, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri. During his working years, Dale was a truck driver and a “root” digger. Dale served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting. Dale was a musician and played the guitar. He loved to travel and see new places.
Dale is survived by his wife, Faye Freeman of Salem, Arkansas; sons, William Michael Freeman of Salem, Arkansas and Stacy Dale Freeman (Elizabeth) of Salem, Arkansas; daughters, Tricia Melton (Marcus) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Linda Lou Kassinger of Springfield, Missouri and Vivian Cunningham of Moko, Arkansas; grandchildren, Aaron Mitchell (Gina), Krista Hunter, Amy, Cody, Joshua Evans, Kimberly Freeman, Anthony Freeman, Chase Cunningham (Erika), Stacey Higgins (Sean), Waylon Norris and Reagan Norris; 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Melissa Jones; sisters, Icey, Spicey and Lavicey and brother, David Null.
Pallbearers include: Aaron Mitchell, Shannon Bassham, Cory Bassham, Marcus Melton, Chase Cunningham, and Dustin Dawson
Funeral Services will be held, Friday, March 7, 2025, at Moko Church of Christ in Moko, Arkansas beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. David Turnbough officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at State Line Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas.
