Dale Hicks Obituary
He was the son of the late Jess Hicks and Letha McKnight Hicks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karita Hicks; his brother, Tommy Hicks; and his sister, Sue Shanes.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of nearly 52 years, Dwana Brake Hicks; his daughter, Jessica Vibbert (Stephen Peach); his brothers, Gene (Brenda) Hicks, Jacky (Michelle) Hicks, Jerry (Lynn) Hicks, and Gary (Christy) Hicks; and his sister, Jane (Jay) Woods. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Cody, John, Will, Justin, Brady, and Hadean; great-grandchildren, Brieanna and MJ; extended family members, Glenda (Buddy) Todd, Dorothy Clark, and Jewel Brake; and his faithful dog, Sophie.
Dale was a man who truly loved working with his hands, especially woodworking. He took great pride in the projects he created and found joy in building things that would last for years to come.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. to assist with funeral expenses.
