Dale Freeman Hostetler, age 59 of
Plain City, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on April 8th, 2024, at OSU Wexner Medical Center. Dale was born on March 19th, 1965, in Marysville, Ohio to Freeman and Mary Hostetler. Dale attended Plain View Christian School. Dale was a proud farmer and retired from the Madison County Engineers Office.
Dale is survived by his wife of 37 years Kimberlee(Yutzy) Hostetler; his two sons Joshua and Kyle (Jessi) Hostetler; granddaughters: Gracie, Olivia and Gwen; his siblings: Wilma (Ervin) Yoder, Martha (Mark) Yoder, Becki Kutz, Perry (Emily) Hostetler and Fred (Tammy) Hostetler; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Dan and Edith Yutzy, sister-in-law Sandie (Kurt) Koons, brother-in-law David (Traci) Heineman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his siblings: Henry Hostetler, Ray Hostetler and Joe Hostetler. Dale is also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Chuck Heineman.
Dale was a member of the Maranatha Community Fellowship Church, Dale loved to fish and his favorite place to fish was on Lake Erie at Middle Bass Island.
A visitation will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at United Bethel Mennonite Church 11342 Lafayette Plain City Rd.,
Plain City, OH 43064. Friends and family may also visit on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, from 10 AM to 11 AM at the church. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Rick Yutzy officiating. Interment will follow at Big Darby Cemetery.
