Dale Jones Obituary
The Chatham County native was a member of North Salem Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved her family, was very creative, enjoyed crocheting afghan blankets for family and friends, enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, loved her 4 legged companion Eli whom she fork fed, and cat Marnie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Farris Lee Cubbedge and Juanita Brinson Cubbedge; husband of 58 years, Albert Preston Jones; great-granddaughter, Harper Page; brother, Larry Cubbedge; and sister, Marion Hodges.
Survivors include her son, Anthony "Tony" Jones (Julie); daughter, Kathy Williford (Clint); grandchildren, Casey Jones, Stephen Jones, Wyatt Jones, Cameron Jones, Ajay Page (Alexis), Franklin Page (Kayleigh), and Jada Williford; great-grandchildren, Kailie Jones, Layla Jones, Tristan Jones, Emma Page, and Legend Williford; sister, Paula Swailes (W.C.); and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025 at North Salem Baptist Church followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m.
