Dale Kendall, age 73, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away at Signature HealthCARE in Horse Cave, KY.
Dale was born January 3, 1952, in Warren Co., KY to the late Vanous Ray Kendall and the late Fay Violet Martin. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Kendall and William "Bill" Kendall, and a sister, Barbara Hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Hays Kendall of forty-nine years; son, Robert Dale Kendall daughter, Candace Kendall Jaggers (Jason); two grandchildren, Canon Jaggers and Kensley Jaggers; sister, Paula Stanley; three brothers, David "Lou" Kendall (Geri), Jon Kendall, and Jim Kendall (Leslie). Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Dale worked for Crounse Corporation as a Riverboat Captain and retired after forty-five years. He loved to hunt and fish with his son and brothers. Dale enjoyed sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds. He loved his grandchildren dearly. He especially loved watching his grandson play baseball and football, and his granddaughter sing, dance, and play volleyball. Dale was a family man that enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Kentucky and Signature HealthCARE of Hart County for their wonderful care.
The family has entrusted J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with arrangements.
Dale's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
