Dale A. Kliethermes, age 86, of Jefferson City formerly of Loose Creek, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Valley Park Retirement Center in Holts Summit surrounded by his loving family.

Dale was born on September 19, 1938, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Arthur M and Irene (Prenger) Kliethermes.

Dale was proud to be part of the first class to graduate from Helias High School in 1957. He proudly served our country in the United States Army Reserves and served in the Infantry division until 1963.

In 1959, he learned to install floor covering at the former Milo H. Walz. After that time, he started Kliethermes Floor Covering. In 1986, he partnered with Tony Strope and opened a store on Eastland Drive. Dale retired in 2004.

Dale and his father purchased the Jacob Kliethermes farm in Loose Creek. When his father became ill, Dale and JoAnn purchased the land and built their home.

Dale was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek.

Dale enjoyed working on his farm, as well as traveling and camping in the mountains of Montana and Wyoming. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
