Cheryl Lynne (Owens) Abendschein, age 67, of Owensville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Belleview Valley Nursing Home in Belleview.
Cheryl was born on November 18, 1957, in St. Louis County, a daughter to the late William Owens and Shelba (Bacon) Larimore. Her mother survives in Sullivan.
Cheryl was a 1976 graduate of Linn High School. She grew up in the Cooper Hill Area.
Cheryl loved camping, and her cat, Marina.
In addition to her mother, Cheryl is survived by a sister, Lynda (Curt) Crowe of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Brett Owens of Bay and Craig Owens of Cooper Hill.
In addition to her father, Cheryl was preceded in death by one nephew, Jarrod C. Crowe and a niece, Chelsey Crowe.
Per Cheryl’s wishes she has been cremated, and services will be held at a later date.
