A much loved son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather, Dale Martin Koepka, 83, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 with his family present. He was born on August 13, 1942 in Braddock, Pennsylvania. His parents were Howard Wirth Koepka and Catherine Hudson Koepka and he was one of five siblings: Howard, Dale, Kitty, Mary, and Edward. Dale had one son, Howard James Koepka, who he loved and cared for greatly.
At the age of 18, Dale joined the Air Force and worked as an aircraft mechanic. He served in active duty for four years, spent two years in the reserve, and was discharged honorably. After his time in the Air Force, Dale worked as an airline agent, and later worked for his father as a salesman and sheet metal fabricator. He went on to open his own sheet metal fabrication company (DalKo) in his garage. The business became so successful that he had to expand into a warehouse in Hialeah, Florida.
Due to his success, Dale was able to retire early, enabling him to spend more time with his family, while also traveling the country in his RV. Impressively, he was able to make it to all forty-nine continental states… “if only there was a road to Hawaii.”
Dale was always thoughtful, generous, had a great (dry) sense of humor, and went out of his way to take care of his family. He enjoyed plants, bird watching, going to yard and estate sales, and taking care of his dogs. And ultimately, Dale loved the Lord and sought to know him more, especially towards the end of his life.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Catherine Koepka; his two brothers, Howard and Edward Koepka; and his son, Howard James Koepka. He is survived by his two sisters, Kitty Harding and Mary Goode; his brothers-in-law Harvey Harding and Bruce Goode; his three grandchildren, Emma Simpson, Brianna Oakley, and Aaron (A.J) Koepka; his nieces, Tracy Melton and Catherine Lorentz; his nephews, Christopher Goode, Brian Goode, and Matthew Koepka; his great niece Murielle Tierce; his great nephews Brendon Melanson and Hudson Goode; his great granddaughters, Xoe Simpson and Arden Oakley; and many other extended family members that he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at Eagle Pointe Church (Acworth, GA). There will be a visitation at 5:00 PM and service at 6:00 PM.
