Mr. Dale Robert Line, 76, of Hanna City, Illinois passed away at 12:01 am, Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his home.

Dale was born January 11, 1949, the son of Robert Kenneth and Neva Irene (Fahey) Line. He married Rosemary Myers on October 14, 1967, in Abingdon, Illinois.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Rosemary; his daughter, Dawn Marie Line of Bushnell, Illinois; five grandchildren, Christopher (Katelynn) Beard of Bushnell, Kirsten Nicholson of Woodhull, Illinois, Tristan (Tanner) Line of Moline, Illinois, Hailey Line of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Jason Housenga of Bushnell; and two great grandchildren, Bentley Housenga of Macomb and Scarlett Housenga of Bushnell. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Scott Dale Line and his brother, Ivan Line.

Dale graduated from Abingdon High School in 1967 and completed courses in 1971 for Caterpillar Corporation, where he continued to work for over 42 years, retiring in 2009.

Dale had a love for the outdoors, working in his garden and watching birds, especially hummingbirds and cardinals. He enjoyed working with his hands, traveling either on or off his motorcycle, and listening to some good ole rock n roll and country music. But his greatest love was his family and spending time with them.

Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 pm Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, August 29, 2025, at East Midway Cemetery, London Mills. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be offered at www.h-p-w.com.
