Dale Joseph Miller

Dale was born June 15, 1939, in Barrington, IL, to the late Frank and Ruth Miller and passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, which is "National be an Angel" Day, surrounded by his loving family, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL.

Dale Joseph Miller, age 85, was a resident of Grayslake, IL for 24 years, formerly of Wauconda, IL for 40 years.

Dale was the beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Warzenski); loving father Constance Johnsen, Alison (Roland) Schneider and Michele Golla; cherished grandfather of 5 and proud great-grandfather of 6; dear brother of Wayne, Dennis, Muriel and Marie and the late Ronald (Alice); fond uncle of many. The other love of his life is his miniature Schnauzer, Sadie.

Dale was a 1958 graduate of Barrington High School and proudly served in the United States National Guard from 1961 to 1967. He was a career Truck Driver. Dale was a Wauconda Park District Board Member from 1977 to 1991. His favorite NASCAR drivers were Dale Sr. and Jr. Earnhardt. He enjoyed golf, boating on Bangs Lake, snowmobiles and motorcycles and vacationing in Florida.

Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 2024, from 10 am to time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Rd., Mundelein, IL 60060, 847-223-0010.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
