Dale Parcher, 77, of Marble Rock, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City.

Dale James Parcher, the son of Philip and Fern (Blum) Parcher, was born on October 5, 1948, in Charles City. He attended and graduated from Rockford High School in 1966. After high school, Dale served in the United States Army, Big Red 1 Infantry, as sergeant during the Vietnam War.

Dale was united in marriage to Patricia "Pat" Dolan on April 5, 1975. Dale was a hardworking farmer and raised cattle. He was a member of the Greene VFW. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and trapping. Dale loved his family and especially loved spoiling his grandchildren.

Living family members include his wife of 50 years, Pat Parcher; two sons, Philip (Angie) Parcher and Eric (Natalie Salinas) Parcher; grandchildren: Lucas (Elizabeth) Parcher, Carrigan (Chay Sonberg) Parcher, Wyatt (Abby Groesbeck) Parcher, and Logan Parcher; great-grandchildren, Charolette Parcher and Cohen Sonberg; brothers and sisters-in-laws: Janice Parcher, Kay Parcher, Annette Simonson, Chuck (Mary Jo) O'Neil, Dave (Marilyn) Dolan, Jane (Tom) Saxen, Madonna (Tom) Bowie, Bill (Joyce) Dolan, and Donna Dolan; along with many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters: Maxine (Gerald) Hershey, Earl Parcher, Betty Jo (Rusell) Staudt, and Jerry Parcher; brothers-in-law, Earl Simonson, Jim Dolan, and Ray Dolan.
