Dale E. Shollenberger, 93, of Bushkill Township, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township. His beloved wife of 62 years, Joy E. (Lewis) Shollenberger, passing away in 2021.
Born in Bushkill Township, Dale was the son of the late Earl and Rachael E. (Berger) Shollenberger. A member of the Laborers' International Union of North America Local 1174 - Allentown, Dale was a dedicated and hardworking individual whose career as a laborer spanned more than 30 years before retiring from Kospiah Excavating, Inc., Allentown. Outside of work, he enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending many years at the family cabin in Maine with his wife and family.
He was a member of Schoeneck Moravian Church, Nazareth, and Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club.
Survivors: He is survived by three sons, Kim D. Shollenberger and wife, Nancy, of Pine Grove, PA, Ricky T. Shollenberger of East Allen Township, and Kevin E. Shollenberger of Bushkill Township; eight grandchildren, Christina, Joshua, Chad, Kelly, Alicia, Theresa, Natasha, and Carlee; four great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Emma, Lyra, and Cyrus; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Joy, he was predeceased by a sister, Betty M. Warner.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in Schoeneck Moravian Church, 316 N. Broad Street Extension, Nazareth, PA 18064. Friends and Relatives are invited to call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service in the church. Interment will follow at God's Acre of Schoeneck Moravian Cemetery, Nazareth. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., in the Village of Moorestown - Bath. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: www.bensingfuneralhome.net.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Schoeneck Moravian Church.
