Dale R. Stratz, 93, of Fond du Lac, died on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born on November 13, 1932, in Fond du Lac, the son of Albin and Iona (Fisher) Stratz. Dale graduated from Rosendale High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1954 – 1956. On June 28, 1958, he married JoAnn Diedrich at St. Mary’s Church, Fond du Lac. Dale worked at Mercury Marine for 38 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of Holy Family Parish. Dale enjoyed traveling the USA and spending time with family.
He is survived by his three daughters, Debra (Jeff) Faris, Diane (Mike Sperger) Coffen, and Janet (Jeff) Lewis; four grandchildren, Shawn (Heather) Faris, Jennifer (Andy) Sposeto, Mark (Danielle) Lewis, and Ashley (Travis) Raflik; six great grandchildren; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnn; infant daughter, Lynn Ellen Stratz; four sisters, Kay Schraven, Marjorie Pitt, Mary Coon, and Pat Bednarek; and brother, Glen Stratz.
The visitation will occur on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Presentation Church, 705 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
