Dale C. Thomas Sr.

Dale C. Thomas, Sr., 72, of Dillsburg, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at his home. He was born September 24, 1939, in York County, the son of the late Harry and Lena (Kellison) Thomas. Dale was self employed and was the former owner and operator of Thomas Enterprises. He attended the Pinchot Park Assembly of God Church, Wellsville. Dale is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis J. (Leedy) Thomas; one son, Dale C. Thomas, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Wellsville; two daughters, Michelle L. Staton and her husband Mark of Dover and Charlotte L. Toomey and her husband Wayne, Jr. of Dillsburg; three sisters, Marcella Albert and Pauline Spangler, both of Dillsburg and Sylvia Laughman of New Oxford. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Cassondra Webb, Carissa Thomas, Kaylee Thomas, Katrina Thomas, Zachary Staton, Darren Toomey, Ashley Toomey; and three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Webb, Brent and Connor Regal. Dale was also preceded in death by one brother, Harry and one sister, Cheryl Long. Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 10-11 am followed by a service and fellowship at 11:00 am in his church, Pinchot Park Assembly of God, 2755 Rosstown Rd., Wellsville, PA with the Rev. Timothy Imes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Children's Miracle Network, P.O. Box 855, Hershey, PA 17033.
