Dale Robert Tripp, the son of Alvie and Irene (Hessenius) Tripp was born July 11, 1952 in Emmetsburg, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Webb, IA area, where he went to grade school and attended South Clay High School. He then went to Mechanic School in Sheldon, IA.
Dale owned and operated Dale’s Repair in Everly, IA and managed hog buildings until his retirement in 2022. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, 4-wheeling, gardening and especially spending time with family.
Dale passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the age of 72, at the Spencer Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Allan, Albert, and Alvin Tripp, one sister, Arlene Webster, 2 nieces, Jennifer Webster and Dawn Tripp, and one nephew, John Tripp.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Roberta McEwen of Everly, IA; one son, Matthew McEwen of Everly, IA; one brother, Arnold Tripp of Albert Lee, MN; one sister, Ilene (Darrell) Birchard of Dayton, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
