Dale Wilson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 14, 2025.
Dale's obituary:
Dale Warren Wilson, age 79, of Minnetrista, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, holding the hand of his beloved wife of 23 years, Dar. Dale absolutely loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman, a wonderful cook, a patriot, a born salesman, and a dog lover. He loved his wife, his boat, and his dogs-and not always in that order. J
Dale grew up in Torrance, California, where he enjoyed surfing. He served his country stateside in the National Guard during the late 1960s. After leaving California for Colorado, Dale became a successful medical device equipment salesman, specializing in respiratory monitors, then fetal heart monitors. When given the opportunity to take on a new territory in the Midwest, he chose to settle in Minnesota. Dale flourished there and was proud to call it his home for the past 54 years, eventually building a successful career as a realtor.
Dale will be remembered for the twinkle in his eye, the scrunch of his nose when he smiled, and the generosity he showed to so many. While he always had a kind heart and was a gentle soul, his faith in Jesus is what carried him through. His faith journey began 27 years ago at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, and he was at peace when he left this earth and returned to the Lord.
Dale will always be remembered as a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa; a caring brother and uncle; and a friend to so many. He left us far too soon, but we know where he went.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents Duane Wilson and Charlotte Hadley and his brother Wallie. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Wilson; his stepchildren, Teri Schnyder and Jen Owens; his grandchildren, Samantha Mundy (Matt), Brett Schnyder, Abigail Owens, and Isabella Owens; his great-granddaughter, Mya; his sisters, Mona Dominik (Frank) and Cathie Post (Jim); and nieces.
A service will be held at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church: 3900 Winnetka Ave. N., New Hope, Minnesota, on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
