Dalia M. Ortegon

Dalia Munoz Ortegon, born to Apolonio and Esperanza Munoz on January 3, 1958, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted family matriarch, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2026, at the age of 68 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Dalia was the cherished wife of Ernesto Ortegon, her devoted partner of 48 beautiful years. Together, they built a strong and loving family that was the center of her world. She is survived by her four children: Selena Foster (and her husband Daniel), Ernie Ortegon (and his wife Jazmin), Omar Ortegon, and Adrian Ortegon.

Dalia took immense pride and joy in her 12 precious grandchildren. Known for her vibrant energy and generous heart, Dalia was deeply devoted to her family above all else. She found great happiness in simple, creative joys-spending hours crafting beautiful handmade treasures, tending to her garden with care and preparing delicious home-cooked meals that brought everyone together around the table. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and comfort.

She will be remembered as a pillar of strength and a source of strong love. For a petite woman Dalia brought a huge presence to any gathering that will be greatly missed. She now leaves behind a legacy of family, love, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
