Damon Donald Obituary
Damon was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Iraq War. Following his military service, Damon devoted himself to education, serving as an Agriculture teacher for the Avinger and Linden-Kildare Independent School Districts, where he influenced and mentored many students.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Donald.
Damon is survived by his mother, Donna Donald; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrell and Casey Donald, Daniel and Jolene Donald, and Dennis and Jennifer Donald; one sister, Kayden Donald; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish his memory.
The family will host a memorial service at the Mims Fire Department, located at 9901 FM 729, Avinger, Texas 75630. Service details will be announced by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
