Daniel Frank Chapman, age 88, of Orlando, Fl. passed away on September 21, 2025 at The Commons at Lutheran Towers.
Born on June 12, 1937 in Taft, Fl., Dan was the son of William & Ollie Chapman. He graduated from High School and went on to join the military, in 1960, he rejoined after his first honorable discharge to serve during the Vietnam War, spending over 7 years and almost 8 months in service. After discharge he went on to work for HVAC companies making commercial sheet metal air ducts.
Dan is survived by his eldest son Michael, and his wife Connie, their children Michael, Jamie and Jessica, her husband Dillon, and Dan’s great grandchildren (Michael) Aiden, (Jamie) Colton, Remi, (Jessica & Dillon) Kyrsenn, Kelsi & Charleigh. Dan’s youngest son, Joseph and his wife Carrie and their daughter Bridget. He also will be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on 10/03/25 a gathering and social time starting around 3:15pm, Military Honors at 4:00pm, followed by a eulogy and sharing stories about Dan at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 895 Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Fl 32822. Burial will follow later, at a to be determined date, at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
In the quiet moments ahead, we will feel his presence in the laughter of our children, the warmth of our memories, and the unbreakable bonds of family. Farewell Dad- until we meet again.
