Dan Cameron "Danny" Houser

Dan "Danny" Cameron Houser, beloved husband, father, and sibling, passed away on March 7, 2024, after bravely battling small cell lung cancer. He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Lisa Houser, his cherished children Cameron Houser (and husband Nick Caruso), Patrick Houser (and wife Alexanda Oliveras-Houser), his loving siblings, Troy Houser, Kaye Crosby, and Scott Houser, and two grandchildren Isa Pamblanco Oliveras and Bryson Daniel Houser.
A proud veteran, Dan served with honor in the 82nd Airborne, a chapter of his life that he held dear. Yet, his deepest joy came from his family and the simple pleasures of life in our close-knit small town. He found solace in the rolling mountains of North Carolina, often taking scenic drives with his beloved wife and their faithful companion and cherished dog, Max.
Dan will be remembered for his warmth, his unwavering love for his family, and his commitment to a life well-lived. Though he may have left this world, his spirit and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors Family Support in honor of Dan's memory. A celebration of his life will be held at a graveside service at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday March 10 at 2pm with Reverend Carrol Paige officiating. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
