Dan Irvan Obituary
Roger was born in Murray, KY on March 23, 1945 to the late Dan Irvan and Pauline Angle Irvan.
He was a retired teacher and avid cattleman, but foremost, he was a devoted Christian, and was a member of North Marshall church of Christ.
Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brenda Downing Irvan, his two sons Danny (Mandy) Irvan and Darian (Suzanne) Irvan, all of Calvert City, KY, grandchildren Brandon (Tara) Irvan, Maggie (Chase) Greer, Cole Williams, Sarah Irvan, Zander Maxlow, Zoe Maxlow, Jasmine Irvan, and Raina Irvan, and great-grandchildren Sadie Irvan, Drake Greer, and Carson Irvan.
He is also survived by his mother, Pauline Angle Irvan, two sisters, Wanda Rowe and Patsy Draffen (Joe),
all of Calvert City, KY, and one brother, Dwain Irvan, of Orlando, FL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Irvan, and brother-in-law, James Rowe.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hamm Bell Mission, in care of Walnut Grove church of Christ, attention Johnny Hunt, 85 Walnut Grove Road, Benton, KY 42025.
A funeral service for Roger Irvan will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
The visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
