Danny ( Dan) Kaye Rayphole, 71 of Veedersburg IN, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, February 5th, 2026.
Dan was born on July 16th, 1954 in Danville Illinois and was the son of Ernest and Irene (Crowder) Rayphole. Dan grew up in Kingman and graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1973. He married his high school sweetheart Debra McKinney on April 12th, 1975, and they enjoyed almost 51 years together, raising a family of 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Dan worked as a mechanic at Pace Dairy in Crawfordsville for 28 years, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed being outdoors, working with wood, gardening, cooking, music, playing guitar. and there was not an animal that didn't love him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Debra, son Danny (Cecy) Rayphole, Anthony Kaye(Kathryn) Rayphole, daughter Angela (Joshua) Chastain, son Shane (Viktoria) Rayphole, daughter, Hanna (Justin) Taggart, grandchildren Ripley Rayphole, Chloe (Ethan) Geigle, Daisy, Skyler, Houston and Mariah Rayphole, Luke, Daniel and baby Chastain, Schanate Lee, Steven Jackson, Ailia and baby Taggart, and great-grandchildren Maive and Gryffin Geigle, Remley Crick and Zeno Lee, and sister Barbara Sue (Robert) Mason.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley Kiger and brothers John and Lewis Rayphole.

Danny will be laid to rest at Centennial Cemetery in Yeddo after a private family service.
