John William "Johnny Bill" Bowling, age 68 of Marshall, went to be with this Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was born in Danville, Illinois on November 29, 1957 to the late Jesse Lee and Iola Ann (Harwood) Bowling.
Johnny Bill graduated from Fountain Central High School in1976. He dedicated 20 years of his life to working at Olins/Flexell, but his true passion shone through in his roles with local farmers, especially Kenny Canfield, and as a seasoned truck driver for Gene's Farm Supply and Overpeck's. The open road and wide fields were where Johnny Bill truly felt alive. A free spirit at heart, Johnny Bill embraced the great outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle, and his huge garden was a testament to his love for nature. He played softball on the Kingman A Team and coached softball for many years. He loved his Lord and was a member of the Grace of God Fellowship Church and former member of the Kingman Fire Department.
On September 24, 2016 he married Amy Lynn Bowling, who survives. He also leaves behind his three children, Travis (Jessica) Bowling, Jessica (Shane East) Bowling, and Adam (Chelceie Decker) Bowling; the mother of his children, Peggy Tague; his step-children, Michael (Jennifer) Rogers and Kenny (Jamie) Rogers; nine grandchildren, Sydni, Katie, Kody, Madison, Masey, Mason, Olivia, Nora and Delilah; three great grandsons, Easton, Grayson and Azaiah; one brother, Sam Bowling; and several nieces and nephews. Johnny Bill will also be fondly remembered by countless friends and family members whose lives he touched with his warm spirit and infectious laughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Sohn Bowling.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street in Kingman on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating.
