Daniel Duane Rohn Jr.

February 25, 1949 – December 29, 2025

Daniel Duane Rohn Jr., age 76, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Worland, Wyoming. Born on February 25, 1949, he was the son of the late Dan and Marcia Rohn.

A Veteran of the United States Air Force, Dan served his country with honor before beginning his accomplished career as a programmer for the State of Alaska mainframe computer. He lived in the Great North for most of his life, where he truly found his home. Dan was a passionate outdoorsman and a sportsman; he loved the rugged beauty of Alaska and spent countless hours enjoying everything the wilderness had to offer.

Dan was a man of principle and integrity, traits that defined every aspect of his life. He moved to Worland in his later years, where he continued to leave a lasting impact on those around him. He will be remembered by many for his sharp mind, his steady nature, and the deep friendships he cultivated throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Dan and Marcia; his brother, Thomas Rohn; and his sister, Sharon Nusungynia.

Dan is survived by his brother-in-law, Vern Nusungynia, and his sister-in-law, Christine Rohn. He also leaves behind six nephews and two nieces, as well as several dear friends in both Alaska and Wyoming who will miss his presence and his stories.

In accordance with his wishes, Dan's remains will be returned to Alaska, where they will be dispersed in the wilderness he loved by his good friend, Paul Fuhs. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
