Dana Clarke Davis, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on February 21, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose warm spirit touched the lives of those around him. A dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 35 years, Dana exemplified strength and perseverance in his journey of recovery. He cherished spending time with his family, embracing every moment camping, attending craft festivals with Kathy, visiting the casino, and making memories with his beloved girls.
Born on November 6, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, Dana was the son of Richard and Adaline Davis. He was preceded in death by his cherished grandson, Jacob Gibson, and three siblings, leaving a legacy of love and resilience.
Dana is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathy Davis; daughters Amanda (Billy Hague) Davis, Dana "Pooh" (Jerry Robnett) Coronado, and Heather Davis; grandchildren Autumn Gibson, Chevelle Hague, and Luke Hague; seven siblings; his beloved fur baby, Sadie Mae; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever honor his memory.
A visitation to celebrate Dana's life will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions in Dana’s memory be made to The FEAT (Families for Effective Autism Treatment) of Louisville, located at 1100 East Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40206.
