Dana DeeAnn (Scheer) DeKalb

December 19, 1951 - September 8, 2025

Wichita, Kansas - Dana DeeAnn (Scheer) DeKalb, 73, passed away on September 8, 2025. Dana was a gifted violinist, pianist, and teacher. She is survived by her husband James DeKalb; former husband Aaron Bowen and their children Tara Rittler, Jenny Bowen, and Austin Bowen; stepdaughters Elizabeth Hopkins (Mark) and Laura Huitsing (Pete); nine siblings; and seven grandchildren. Dana will be remembered for her faith, generosity, and love. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, on Monday, Sept. 22, also at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. View expanded obituary and share condolences at www.cozine.com.
