Dana Lynn "Nana" Thompson, 63, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away on September 17, 2025. Born on December 10, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas, Dana was a proud Texan whose life was deeply rooted in love for her family and the simple joys that brought them together.

Dana was the beloved daughter of Freddy and Lena Fincher and the devoted wife of Jerry Thompson, all of whom preceded her in death. She carried forward their legacy with strength and warmth, building a life centered around family and unwavering devotion.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: sons Jeremy Thompson and Chris Thompson, and daughter Jaime Thompson. Her role as "Nana" was one she cherished above all else. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren-Carson Thompson, Payton Thompson, Kyler Thompson, Koti Thompson and Lane Thompson -and her great-granddaughter Nova Thompson. Whether it was casting a line on a quiet fishing trip or sharing laughter at family gatherings, Dana's presence brought comfort and happiness to those around her.

Known for her caring heart and infectious sense of humor, Dana had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved. She would do anything for her family, always putting their needs before her own. Her legacy as "the best Nana" lives on in the memories shared by those who were lucky enough to know her.
