Dana Kelly Walker

Dana Kelly Walker went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at her home in Florence, MS. She was 50 years old. The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Dana was born on January 12, 1974, to James Kelly and Margaret Redditt Kelly in Jackson, MS. She was a member of Lakeshore Church. Dana loved her Lord and Savior and was a devout Christian. She also loved her family and friends dearly. Dana was a strong woman who fought a brave battle with cancer for many years. She never let the odds, or the battle get her down. Dana loved crafting, but more than anything, she loved her granddaughter Adaline “aka” Turkey. She loved getting together with her family and spending quality time with them. She was a friend to all who knew her and to know her was to love her. Dana will truly be missed and now, she has gained her reward.

Dana is survived by her husband of 24 years, Mark Walker of Florence; parents, James, and Margaret Kelly; sons, Christopher Walker (Leanna) of Marshal, TX, Steven Walker (Morgan) of Florence, Noah Walker (Makayla) of Richland; and one grandchild, Adaline Walker aka “Turkey” and sister, Mary Taylor (Paul) of Raymond.
