Daniel Vaughn Allen

Daniel Vaughn Allen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on November 6, 1947, Daniel lived a full and purposeful life shaped by ambition, curiosity, and a deep dedication to the people he loved.

A proud graduate of Florida State University, Daniel went on to build a long and distinguished career in commercial real estate. He retired from CB Richard Ellis after many successful years as a respected Commercial Real Estate Broker. Known for his integrity, hard work, and unwavering determination, Daniel left a professional legacy that reflected his belief that "there was never an excuse for not getting what you wanted in this life."

Outside of his career, Daniel embraced every opportunity to enjoy the world around him. He loved sailing, traveling with his wife and friends, spending days on the golf course, and collecting cars-each passion a reflection of his adventurous spirit and appreciation for life's pleasures.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Allen; his mother, Miriam Allen; and his brother, Tim Allen. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lynette Allen; his daughter, Sydney (Lars) Anderson; Erin Masterson; his sister, Danese (Dick) Joyce; and five cherished grandchildren who brought him great joy.

Daniel will be remembered for his drive, his humor, his loyalty, and the love he shared so generously. His life was a testament to pursuing one's dreams with conviction and living fully and without apology. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory forever treasured. We will love and miss you forever. Rest in peace Dan.
