Daniel Ayim Amponsah, 27, of Greensboro, North Carolina died suddenly while visiting family in Glen Burnie, Maryland for Easter holidays on Wednesday night, April 5, 2023. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Family reunions won't be the same without our beloved "Kwasi."
Daniel was born on August 27, 1995 to Dr. William and Valentina Amponsah in Greensboro, North Carolina. He graduated from Fork Union Military Academy (FUMA) in 2014 and went on to study in the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and Full Sail University with a degree in Information Technology. Until his death, he had been working as a software developer and forensic investigator.
While in FUMA, Daniel exhibited leadership potential by becoming a Platoon Commander and as a defensive captain of the FUMA football team as a Defensive End. Unfortunately, his dream of playing football in college was cut short when he sustained injuries. He was a naturally gifted speaker and motivator. Baptized a Methodist, he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Daniel is survived by his parents William and Valentina, siblings William Benjamin, Rachel and Sarah-Angeline, aunties Faye Frempong and Gifty Amponsah, and a long list of uncles, nephews, and nieces.
Lord make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen.
