Daniel Alan Armstrong, 60, of Rensselaer, passed away on December 17, 2025, at his home.
On September 9, 1965, Daniel was born to Wright ‘Duane’ and Sarah Joyce (Cambe) Armstrong, in Rensselaer, Indiana. He graduated from Kankakee Valley High School, class of 1984. Daniel worked as a road highway technician for INDOT in Rensselaer. He married the love of his life, Edna Mae Hudak on March 7, 2002, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Daniel was a member of the Eagles Post 2548 of Rensselaer, Moose of Rensselaer, and Sons of the American Legion in Wheatfield and Rensselaer. He enjoyed fishing, livestock, and spending time with family.
Daniel is survived by his children: Ashley Weston, Ryne Baugh, Daniel (Lillian Kornacki) Armstrong, granddaughters: Danielle, Zoey, Katie, a grandchild due in June, brother: Paul (Toni) Armstrong, brother-in-law: Michael (Patricia) Hudak Jr., sister-in-laws: Tammy Onder, Gloria Cornwell, Mother-in-law: Edna Hudak, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, and wife: Edna Armstrong.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, IN 46392. Services for Daniel will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Oliver Sr. officiating. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Crockett Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
