78 year old, John W. Breneman, of Paris, Illinois, passed away February 6, 2026, surrounded by family at his brother’s home.
On April 4, 1947, John was born to Jefferson and Corrine (Patterson) Breneman, in Paris, Illinois. He served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. John worked as a roofer. He was married to the love of his life, Peggie Scarborough, on September 4, 1982, who precedes him. John loved being with friends and family. He liked to go fishing, and was a huge rockhound.
John is survived by his children: John Breneman, Jeff Breneman, Tari Passineau, Tammy Breneman Keeler, Jason Breneman, several grandchildren, and siblings: Ronnie (Vohana) Breneman, Melodie (John) Harrison, Theren (Kathy) Breneman, Kathy (Rod) Wilson, Luckie Breneman, and Vanessa Chandler.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and wife: Peggie Breneman.
Per John’s wishes cremation will take place.
John and his wife will be buried at the Danville National Cemetery at a later date.
