Daniel Barry Obituary
October 16, 1945 - December 29, 2022
Daniel Patrick Barry found peace on December 29, 2022, at the age of 77. Dan is survived by his loving wife Susan (nee Kowalski); children David (Jennifer) Barry and Tanya (Trevor) Strand; grandchildren Isaac, Coleman, Caden, Ashlee and Dane; siblings: Dennis (Sheila) Barry, Jim Barry, Anne Marie (Ken) Kucza, and Diane (Brian) Goodchild; Brother-in-law of Anita Kowalski (Paul Gainer) and Thomas Kowalski; and cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dan was preceded in death by both parents, Leonard Barry and Rita (Drinane) Barry.
Dan worked for the railroad from the age of 17 until his retirement. He spent the last 5 years struggling with pulmonary fibrosis.
Dan was a life of the party personality who enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was a regular attendee of his grandchildren's sporting events. His true happy place was spending time with friends on the golf course. His laugh was infectious and he was always up for a great meal. He has been greeted with unlimited martinis and wide-open airways in Heaven.
All are invited to join in a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Morningstar Golfers Club from noon to 3pm. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be available.
