Daniel Lee Binion-Hunter

Daniel Lee Binion-Hunter, age 53, of Spring Arbor, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 16, 1971 to his parents, the late George and Ruth Binion. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Robert Binion and Mary Louise Reed.
He is survived by his husband of 15 years, Quentin Binion-Hunter; children, Koven Paul Binion and Terrance (Kennedy) Daniel Binion; siblings, Betty (Art) Whetro, Edgar Binion, George (Aime) Binion, and Ricky (Teresa) Binion; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Daniel was one of a kind-a man with a sharp wit, a brutal honesty that could make you laugh and cry in the same sentence, and a heart bigger than life itself. He never held back his opinions, but you always knew that underneath his sass was a love so deep, so unwavering, that you couldn't help but feel safe in his presence. He was a fighter, a dreamer, and a man who never backed down from a challenge. He lived boldly, loved fiercely, and never settled for anything less than elegance and excellence.
One of his greatest passions was fabric. He had an eye for beauty, a deep appreciation for quality, and an unshakable belief that no one should be priced out of having something beautiful. He made it his mission to bring high-quality textiles at an affordable price so that elegance and comfort could belong to everyone, not just those who could afford luxury. It was never just about the fabric-it was about dignity, creativity, and making sure people could express themselves beautifully without limitations. That was the kind of man he was-always looking out for others, always wanting to make life a little more refined, a little more special.
Honoring Daniels wishes, cremation has taken place. Any donations made in his memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
