Daniel Blask Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels - Columbia Heights on Sep. 30, 2024.
Daniel Edward Blask, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on August 12, 1967, Daniel was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him.
Daniel is survived by his devoted wife, Trisa; his cherished daughter, Breanna; his loving siblings, Lisa (Keith), Deanna (Kaylynn and Samarah), Jenny (Blake, Mackenzy, and Isabella), and Justin; plus a host of friends, family, and co-workers who will cherish his memory forever.
Known for his infectious laughter, Daniel had a unique ability to brighten any room and make friends wherever he went. He had a passion for fishing, enjoying countless hours by the water, reveling in the peace and joy it brought him. He also had a talent for fixing electronic devices, often diving into projects to troubleshoot and repair gadgets, delighting in the challenge and the satisfaction of bringing things back to life. An avid gamer, Daniel loved sharing his passion for video games with his daughter, Breanna, spending countless hours playing together and creating cherished memories. He also had a knack for entrepreneurship and was constantly exploring new ways to provide for Trisa and himself.
Despite his warmth and kindness, Daniel often carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. He never wanted to impose on others and frequently put the needs of those he loved before his own, embodying a selflessness that defined his character.
Daniel was truly the kindest soul, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. His absence leaves a profound void in our hearts, and he will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at 3:00 PM, with gathering one hour prior, on Saturday, October 5th, at Washburn-McReavy, located at 4101 Central Ave NE, Columbia Heights. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the surviving family members, or to any nonprofit animal rescue organization of the donor's choice. Daniel was always dedicated to helping animals in need, and his dream was to one day own an animal rescue. This tribute honors the spirit of kindness and generosity he embodied.
Rest in peace, dear Daniel. Your laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
