DANIEL BOND Obituary

BOND, Daniel J. Age 74, of Apollo Beach, FL, formerly of Acton, peacefully on August 16, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Linda (Kondrat) Bond, who passed away in 2016. Born in Woburn, son of the late Kenneth and Theresa (Cullen) Bond. He worked many years in the construction field, specifically in electronics and carpentry. A proud United States Marine, Dan was a Vietnam veteran. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #39 in Arlington. Dan is lovingly survived by his sisters, Carol Payne and Claire Upton and her husband, Bob, all of Apollo Beach, FL. His sisters, Anne Cail, Lois Bond; and brother, David Bond all of Woburn. He also leaves his best friend and caretaker, Nor Ahearn; along with many nieces, nephews and their families. Sadly, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Carney. Visiting Hours on Sunday, August 24, from 2-6PM, in the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111), ACTON. Funeral Mass on Monday, August 25, at 10AM, in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington St., Acton. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord Road, Acton. www.actonfuneralhome.com
