Daniel Joseph Bourgeois

Daniel Joseph Bourgeois “Danny”, a cherished lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on September 23, 1951, in New Orleans.

 Daniel had a successful career as a respected electrician. He devoted his life to his family, friends, and his quest for knowledge. 

 Beloved father to Carey Casbon (Troy), Kelby Bourgeois, Caton Bourgeois and Kellyn McCurdy. Son of Vivian P. Boudreaux and the late Harold J. Bourgeois, Sr. Brother to Sandra Ullrich (Tommy), Pam Campiso, Karen Jenniskens (John), Brian Bourgeois (Angela), Harold Bourgeois Jr. (Claudia) and the late Keith Bourgeois. Grandfather of Jared, Lil Troy, Monica, Brandon, John, Alyssa, Alexis, Blayde, Lil Kelby, Chloe, Harlynn and Jaydon. Great-grandfather to Amia, Noah, Liam, Ayva, Amara, and Montre. Uncle Danny to many nieces and nephews. 

 Danny’s devotion to build unique meaningful relationships with those he loved while sharing his passion for knowledge will forever be remembered by all who knew him.

 A graveside service will be held in his honor on March 1, 2025, at Westlawn Memorial Park in Terrytown, Louisiana at 10:30AM.

 Daniel Joseph Bourgeois will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his generosity, spirit and the unforgettable impact he had on the lives of so many.
