Daniel Bradley was born on August 16, 1954. The son of Albert and Florence (Yohn) Bradley. He graduated from North Tama High School in 1973. He worked for John Deere for 25 years and retired at the age of 44. He then started a construction business with his son and built homes for eight years. He worked out in his shop, cutting beef for the last 10 years.
He married Marti Vincent on September 1, 1983. They raised six loving children: Leroy Bradley, Laura Dlouhy, Christina Zaruba, Cheryl Popelka, Donny Bradley, and Blade Bradley.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting with his sons, butchering, and doing a little gardening. He loves all his 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Taylor Bradley; and his siblings, Wayne, Ardis, Ida, David Charles, Jane, Roger, Steven, and Kathy.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Marti; his children, Leroy (Sarah) Bradley, Laura (Nathen) Dlouhy, Christina (Kevin) Zaruba, Cheryl (Rick) Popelka, Donny (Valerie) Bradley, and Blade Bradley; siblings, Jean Novotney, Linda Moeller, and Lynus (Marlene) Bradley.
He is the youngest of 12 children. No matter how old he got, he was still the baby.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ripley United Church of Christ, 400 S Main St, Traer, IA. The family will greet guests at a visitation on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
