Daniel George "Dan" Brady, age 77, of Harborcreek, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born in Erie on August 3, 1947, son of the late George William and Mary Elizabeth Wilson Brady.

Dan was a 1965 graduate of Harbor Creek High School, where he was a defensive captain of the football team and was named MVP his senior year. Dan was drafted into the US Army and served in Germany during the Vietnam era. Dan was an incredibly hard worker, dedicating 42 years of his life to his craft as a bricklayer, and serving as a proud member of the BAC Local 9 PA union. He loved the outdoors, he was always tinkering -fixing, building, or improving something around the house. Above all else, Dan was a devoted family man. His love and loyalty to his family were unwavering, and he found his greatest joy in the time they shared together.

Dan is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Sharie Brady, having just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on April 22nd; five children: Michelle Prindle (Marcus "Scott"), Kelli Graham, Scott Brady (Denise), Trevor Brady (Martha), and Kaylin Brady; one brother, Donald "Joe" Brady (Debi); 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Brady; four sisters, and three brothers.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd.) on Tuesday, April 29th, from 5 PM until the time of the prayer service there at 7 PM. Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Carl Neff Post #571. Interment will be private. Condolences may be offered at www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.

Dad,

I can never thank you enough for showing me, through your actions, what it means to treat a woman with respect, to provide for your family, and to work hard with integrity. I´ll always remember how you never complained-about anything or anyone-no matter the circumstances. As Denise said so beautifully in her eulogy, you are my hero too. I look forward to seeing you again Dad! But for now, I am so happy that you are no longer in pain.

Peggy Ann and Family,
I am sorry for your loss. Dan was one of the nicest guys in our class and was always a joy to talk to him. I remember the day he showed me his trophy for being the MVP. He was very proud of the award.
